California Waters, one of Orange County’s fastest-growing commercial construction companies, seeks an experienced warehouse worker and delivery driver with clean CA DMV record. Full-time job with benefits and room for advancement.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Immediate opening for a full-time position, at our headquarters in Yorba Linda. Normal start time will be 5.00 to 6.00 am, so need to be able to start work early. You will have joint responsibilities, so you will be performing standard warehouse lead activities and making daily deliveries and pickups in our vehicles, to and from our warehouses, jobsites, and vendors and suppliers. Some days will be 100% warehouse, some days will be 100% deliveries, most days you will do both.
QUALIFICATIONS:
On the warehouse side, should have experience with forklifts, pallet jacks, and similar equipment. Must be able to climb stairs. Will be asked to count, receive, pick, stage, and distribute from stock and from special orders, in and out. Basic computer skills, especially with Excel, is a plus. Also perform facility and warehouse general maintenance and cleaning as needed.
On the driving side, major plus, but not required, to have a CA Class A license and experience with transporting heavy machinery and being able to safely transfer equipment such as bobcats and mini excavators on and off trailers.
Must be able to read, speak, write English at a fluent level. Mandatory pre-employment drug screening and physical required for all new employees.
