San Diego’s Waterfront Park Fountains Back in Action

28 Mar 2016

California Waters recently installed a new filtration system at the fountains at downtown San Diego’s Waterfront Park. The new system uses a sand filtration method designed to save water and reduce the amount of time spent on routine annual maintenance of the fountain. The fountains’ 31 jets spray 14-foot arcs of water into a shallow basin where children play and cool off. At peak times, some 1,500 visitors per day enjoy the fountain.
